PEDESTRIAN.TV has teamed up with Virgin to get you to Tassie this summer.
We are so close, so bloody close, to making it to the end of the year now, mates.
And if you’re someone who had the spicy cough bulldoze all the fun this time last year, chances are you’re feeling mighty burnt out by now. A shell of a human, if you will.
I sure as hell am and to make up for the shemozzle last year, I’m going to Tasmania this summer to guarantee a relaxing break.
Now, I’m kicking myself because I’ve already booked, but for you lucky ducks, Virgin Australia is slinging cheap AF flights to Tassie in summer and autumn if you book between the 5th and 9th of December.
Book between those dates and you’ll get 30% off. Better yet, if you’re not planning to Eat, Pray, Love down there, you can get another $10 off for booking with a mate. So, go spam that group chat!
Tasmania might not be the first place you think of for a summer holiday — but that’s your mistake. I’m going further down under to take some ‘uge gulps of that fresh air and get out into nature while it’s warmer. Just look at how majestic Nelson falls are…
Back to burnout real-quick. If hiking isn’t your thing, and you just want to chill out and reset for the year, Tassie is the relaxed destination for it. You can do as little or as much as you like! Head to Launceston’s Cataract Gorge Reserve to paddle in the pool or just soak up some rays near the water.
Immersing yourself in all the food, wine and culture Tassie has to offer is another big ol’ pull to heading South. Head to a winery in Tamar Valley, a food tour on Bruny Island and Mona (the Museum of Old and New Art) in Hobart.
Can’t wait to breathe, eat and honestly, just lie down in Tassie. Maybe I’ll see ya there!
Snap up the cheapie flights while you can, here.
