Tour Summary:
- Jinja is a town in southern Uganda, on the shore of Lake Victoria. The source of the Nile, at Coronation Park, is marked by a garden and a monument honoring British explorer John Hanning Speke. Owen Falls Dam and Bujagali Dam both span the Nile. Farther north on the river, Itanda Falls is known for its white-water rapids. East of Jinja, on Lake Victoria, Samuka Island is home to birdlife, including little egrets.
Kampala is Uganda’s national and commercial capital bordering Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest lake. Hills covered with red-tile villas and trees surround an urban centre of contemporary skyscrapers. In this downtown area, the Uganda Museum explores the country’s tribal heritage through an extensive collection of artefacts. On nearby Mengo Hill is Lubiri Palace, the former seat of the Buganda Kingdom.

Itinerary
Day 1: kampala city tour & transfer to Jinja
Stop At: Namugongo, Namugongo, Central Region
After breakfast at your hotel in Kampala, you will meet our representative who will brief you about your 3 days Jinja and Kampala tour. After the briefing, you will depart for the Kampala city tour. You will visit places such as cultural sites like Bulange and the royal palace in Mengo, Kasubi tombs which are the burial grounds for the Buganda kings and Nagalabi coronation grounds. Have lunch in Kampala and later visit places like the Bahai Temple which is the only one of its Kind in Africa, Uganda museum and Namugongo Martyrs shrine. In the evening you will transfer to Jinja town for dinner and overnight at Jinja Nile resort or Nile Porch

Day 2: Half day white water RAFTING and source of the Nile
Stop At: Source of the Nile – Speke Monument, Bukaya Njeru, Jinja 7675 Uganda
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the starting point for White water rafting for a half day white water rafting adventure on the Nile. Return to the porch for lunch and after visit the source of River Nile and get a chance to see where the mighty River Nile (Longest River in Africa) starts its journey all the way to Mediterranean Sea. Return to your Hotel in Jinja for dinner and overnight stay.

Later transfer on and stop at Sezibwa falls on Sezibwa River which is believed to have been born by human beings. Have lunch in Mukono town and later proceed with your journey reaching Kampala late in the afternoon.
