With a population of about 10,000 people, the town is the best of both worlds. You can find all the amenities of larger cities while still enjoying the quiet small-town life, especially downtown.

While today they’re generally parking lots and back areas for the local businesses, these historic little areas used to be where merchants would set up/deliver their products.

Nestled along the Bogue Falaya River, this scenic park is the perfect spot for a picnic lunch. There’s also a large playground for the youngsters to release some energy.
It takes place every Wednesday and Saturday and is the best spot for picking up locally grown fruits and veggies as well as locally made products like breads, honey, candles, soaps, and more.
